Description: The HG Wells Short Story Competition invites young writers to submit original fiction between 1,500 and 5,000 words on the theme “The Middle Ground.” Open to writers aged 21 and under, the competition offers a £1,000 prize for the winning entry. All shortlisted stories are published in a professionally produced anthology, providing participants with a platform to showcase their work. Submissions must be in English.
