Description: College Connect is a nonprofit initiative founded by high school students to provide free, personalized mentorship for students navigating the college application process. Participants are matched with current college students based on shared interests, intended majors, and target schools. Mentors assist with various aspects of the application, including essays, extracurricular descriptions, resumes, and re
commendation letters, offering tailored guidance to help students present their best selves.
Dates: Program runs annually from August to February; applications accepted on a rolling basis.
Grade Levels: Primarily Grade 12 (students entering their senior year)

Additional Info:Mentors are current undergraduate students who volunteer their time to support applicants. While the program aims to match every applicant with a mentor, availability may vary based on mentor capacity. The organization also offers chapters at the University of Michigan and Michigan State University for students interested in those institutions.
