Our Mission

To redefine access to enrichment opportunities in the arts, building a more connected, vibrant, and creative future for humanities students around the world.

Our Story

SeaSalt began when our founder Nathaniel, inspired by the works of authors like Octavia Butler, Jhumpa Lahiri, and Goh Poh Seng, began searching for online enrichment to further his writerly craft beyond the classroom.

Yet - after months of navigating online databases and opportunity lists, he found most were either outdated, hidden behind paywalls, or difficult to sort through. Having experienced the transformative impact of accessible, community-centered resources through his work with the Future Scholar Foundation firsthand, Nathaniel set out to create a simpler, more reliable platform for the thousands of other humanities students experiencing similar difficulties.

And so, SeaSalt was born.
