ArtWorks: Internships in the Arts

Cost: Paid ($14/hour; Financial Aid Available)
Description:ArtWorks is a six-week paid summer internship program for high school students interested in the arts. Interns collaborate with professional teaching artists in disciplines such as animation, architecture, creative writing, dance, film, music production, theater, and visual art. The program emphasizes both artistic creation and workforce development, including workshops on financial literacy, resume writing, and public speaking.
Dates: Program Dates: June 16 – July 25, 2025; Application Deadline: April 16, 2025
Grade Levels: Grades 9–12
Skill Level: Beginner
Location Requirements: Florida residents (non-residents may receive community service hours)
Additional Info:Interns work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM, at the Miami Dade College Koubek Center. Participants are paid for up to 180 hours over the course of the program.
