Description: The National Speech & Debate Tournament is the culminating championship event of the National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA), bringing together over 6,000 middle and high school students from across the United States. Participants compete in a range of speech and debate events, including Policy Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Public Forum Debate, Congressional Debate, Original Oratory, Dramatic Interpretation, and more. The tournament emphasizes critical thinking, public speaking, and civic engagement, providing students with a platform to showcase their skills and earn recognition at the national level.

Dates: June 15–20, 2025

Grade Levels: Grades 6–12

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Location Requirements: USA only

Additional Info: Events will be held in Des Moines, Iowa, with registration and competition details available on the official NSDA website. Participants must qualify through district tournaments to attend the national event.
