Description: National History Day (NHD) is a year-long academic program that encourages students to conduct original research on historical topics of interest. Participants create projects in various formats, such as papers, exhibits, documentaries, performances, or websites, centered around an annual theme. These projects progress through local and state competitions, culminating in the national contest.
