Description: The National History Bee is an individual quiz competition that tests students' knowledge across global historical topics. Participants compete in buzzer-based regional tournaments held from late October through early April, with top performers advancing to the national championships. Dates:
Regional tournaments: Late October 2024 – Early April 2025
National Championships: April 27, 2025
Grade Levels: 9–12
Skill Level: Intermediate
Location Requirements: USA only
Additional Info: Top performers at regionals may qualify for the International History Olympiad, scheduled for July 20–26, 2025, in Paris.
