Description: This seven-week paid internship offers high school students in Los Angeles and Orange Counties a unique opportunity to experience life as a professional journalist. Interns will cover breaking news, craft feature stories, and engage in multimedia storytelling, all under the mentorship of experienced journalists. The program includes extensive training and workshops from an award-winning newsroom.
Dates: June 16 – August 1, 2025
Grade Levels: Students graduating in 2025, 2026, or 2027
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Location Requirements: Applicants must reside in Los Angeles or Orange County, California, and be able to work in the El Segundo office Monday through Wednesday; Thursdays are remote.
