Description: This annual contest is hosted by Princeton University's Lewis Center for the Arts and recognizes outstanding poetry by high school juniors. Students may submit up to three poems, which can be previously published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere. The contest is judged by Princeton's creative writing faculty.
Dates: Submissions typically open in the fall and close in late November or early December.
Grade Levels: 11th grade (or international equivalent)
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Additional Info: First prize is $1,500, second prize is $750, and third prize is $500. Honorable mentions are also awarded.
