Description: The Bloomberg Arts Internship is an eight-week paid summer program for rising high school seniors in Philadelphia. Interns are placed at local arts and culture organizations, working up to 35 hours per week, and participate in professional development workshops, cultural immersion activities, and post-secondary readiness sessions. The program emphasizes skills such as public speaking, self-advocacy, and career preparation, providing students with real-world experience in the creative sector.

Application Window: January 8 – February 28, 2025
Program Dates: June 20 – August 15, 2025
Optional School-Year Extension: September 2025 – May 2026 (up to 10 hours/week)
Grade Levels: Rising 12th graders (current 11th graders)
Skill Level: Intermediate
Location Requirements: Philadelphia residents only
Additional Info: Interns are matched with organizations such as museums, theaters, and community arts projects. Participants receive transportation and meal support. Select interns may continue with a school-year internship extension.
