Cost: Paid (No Financial Aid Available) – $15 per entry
Description: The Ned Smith Center’s annual Youth Art Contest invites high school students (grades 9–12) to create nature-themed artwork for the spring 2025 theme. Participants submit original, handmade pieces, using mediums like pencil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, or charcoal, that depict seasonal nature scenes. Awards are given per grade category, and winners’ work is exhibited at the Ned Smith Center in Pennsylvania. This contest encourages artistic development and an appreciation for the natural world.
Dates: Submission deadline: May 23, 2025. Winners exhibit begins: June 27, 2025

Additional Info: Artwork must include one plant or animal identified on the entry form and follow size and medium guidelines. There’s a $10 fee per entry plus an optional $10 return-shipping fee.
